Public transport

I have worked out why public transport is wrong.Well it’s like this; It’s all on their terms.

You see, I got up at 7 this , showered, had breakfast, got to the station, got train, got to work and it was 8am very efficient if you think about it. 1 hour to accomplish that ( its more than I have accomplished in the two hours since I have been at work)

However the point is, it is not what I would have otherwise chosen to do. And in today’s world where marketers, companies, websites, and even banks personalize everything to your taste - down to my individual requirements and capabilities Public transport will never gain more popularity over other modes, as it does not meet my personal requirements, which is; not to be dictated to what time I have to get up; how fast I have to eat my breakfast; when I have to be at a train platform; and how many people I have to share my journey with.

Thus public transport will begin to fade away; the greens have no chance unless they ban everything.

Oh wait....they are trying to ban everything

Yip

You Have a Phlegmatic Temperament

Mild mannered and laid back, you take life at a slow pace.

You are very consistent - both in emotions and actions.

You tend to absorb set backs easily. You are cool and collected.

It is difficult to offend you. You can remain composed and unemotional.

You are a great friend and lover. You don't demand much of others.

While you are quiet, you have a subtle wit that your friends know well.

At your worst, you are lazy and unwilling to work at anything.

You often get stuck in a rut, without aspirations or dreams.

You can get too dependent on others, setting yourself up for abandonment.

I can't put it any other way

Hence, the famous "hockey stick" graph purporting to show climate over the past 1000 years, as a continuous, flat, millennium-long bungalow with a skyscraper tacked on for the 20th century. This graph was almost laughably fraudulent, not least because it used a formula that would generate a hockey stick shape no matter what data you input, even completely random, trendless, arbitrary computer-generated data. Yet such is the power of the eco-lobby that this fraud became the centrepiece of UN reports on global warming. If it's happening, why is it necessary to lie about it?

I knew it all along.

Jefferson
Libertarian - You believe that the main use for
government is for some people to lord it over
others at their expense. You maintain that the
government should be as small as possible, and
that civil liberties, "victimless
crimes", and gun ownership should be basic
rights. You probably are OK with capitalism.
Your historical role model is Thomas Jefferson.

Which political sterotype are you?

"Global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter, that's what we're dealing with," he said.

Get yourself a highschool science text book and get yourself a clue. What a fuckwit.

"Allah yinsur el-mujaheddin fe-Iraq (God grant victory to the mujaheddin in Iraq)," he repeatedly screamed during a 35-minute Arabic sermon at Lakemba's Haldon Street prayer hall in Sydney's southwest last week."

and our popular and competent Prime Minister says

Miss Clark said through the spokesman she could not disclose details of the information provided to the Government since the announcement was made. "Australian officials have confirmed that there is no imminent threat of terrorist attacks in Australia," she said.

HEH

The irony is not lost on me

"Geenpeace is to be fined 640,000 pesos ($16,570) after its flagship Rainbow Warrior II damaged a coral reef in the Tubbataha Reef Marine Park in Philippines during a climate change campaign."

I wonder if the...

I wonder if the farmers can see the irony that cold weather is hampering their production while on the other hand they are being forced to pay for Kyoto agreement on global warming.

This cuntry is becoming perverse

"But he says it is no laughing matter that a farmer could be jailed for six months, fined $25,000 or be banned from having animals for failing to clean dogs' dishes daily, or for having a draughty kennel."

Tolerant War Mongering Religion

An update to the previous post, Michael Totten reminds us what the French paid for
F the French

"France paid millions of dollars for the release of three journalists kidnapped in Iraq, reporter Roger Auque told Afrique Magazine.

He said that - despite official denials - the Government had paid 5 million ($9 million) to free Liberation newspaper's Florence Aubenas and her Iraqi interpreter in June. Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot were released last December for 2 million."

Are you still looking for the link fool?

The excuse in all the above cases was the war in Iraq, but let us not forget that in September 2001, long before Iraq, Osama Bin Laden proudly announced that he ordered the killing of some 3,000 in the United States, in the name of avenging Islam. Let us not forget that the killing began a long time before the invasion of Iraq.

Indeed, jihadis have been killing for a decade in the name of Islam.
